McDonalds Philippines Now Offers a Sub Franchisee License
This is a special type of Franchise License where the Sub Franchisee gets to invest in the restaurant's ESSD (Equipment, Seating, Signage, Décor) plus Fit Out CAPEX and all one-time fees including pre-opening expenses as part of building their own McDonalds journey. GADC builds the restaurant shell as part of the 20-year franchise term.
1. We grant a franchise license to individuals with strong local market acumen who are willing to train for up to 12 months and fully commit to managing a McDonalds restaurant business.
2. There are no exclusive rights nor territorial rights to own and operate a McDonald's restaurant in a given trading area.
3. The term of the franchise is good for twenty (20) years or the term of the lease, whichever is shorter.

The franchisee's investment cost depends on the type of store or site offered by the Company. ESSD + Fit out Capex investment typically ranges from Php 40 to P 60 million:

1. Franchise Application Fee (Php 30,000.00);
2. A non-refundable one-time Franchise Fee (USD $45,000 + VAT regardless of the term of the lease);
3. A one-time POS & other Software Licenses Fee ($3k to $5k + VAT);
4. Non-bearing interest Security Deposit of (Php 3,000,000.00) for the faithful performance of the franchise which is refundable at the end of the franchise term;

Most of your training happens in a McDonald’s restaurant with guidance from experienced franchisees and a supportive team. Along with in-restaurant training, you will complete an online curriculum and leadership courses. The first two courses are held in Field Office training centers, and the third course is a four-day course held at Hamburger University at our headquarters in Chicago.
Training time depends on your full or part-time commitment. At least 20 hours per week are required during training.
Our comprehensive program includes running a restaurant, recruiting and developing your crew, maximizing performance, growing your business, purchasing restaurants, and managing a multi-restaurant organization.
There’s so much to look forward to with ongoing training at Hamburger University where franchise owners sharpen their management, leadership, and culture skills.
